Support Cub Scouts Pack 69 with Giant Gift Cards

Pack 69 has enrolled in Giant Food Stores’ fundraising program to raise money through gift card purchases that may be redeemed at any Giant Food store. This fundraiser has been approved by both Boy Scouts of America Chester County Council and Giant Food stores and is a terrific and easy way to support Scouting and Pack 69.

The gift cards do not expire and can be purchased in $10, $25, $50 or $100 increments. For each gift card purchased, 5 percent goes back to Pack 69, which will use the money raised to help pay for your son’s awards (badges, belt loops, beads, etc) and support the Pack’s many activities each year including the Pinewood Derby, camping trips, end of year rocket launch and BBQ, and many others. The funds will also allow the Pack to continue to keep Annual Dues among the lowest in the Chester County Council.

There is no extra cost to you, no fees and no expiration date. This is an easy way to use your regular spending at Giant to simply and easily raise money for Pack 69 without costing you anything extra.

If just 25 families who currently spend $200 or more on groceries at Giant each month use these gift cards purchased from our Pack to pay for their Giant groceries, this action alone would raise $250 per month for the Pack!

Please consider purchasing Giant Gift Cards from Pack 69 to support your son’s scouting activities, especially if you are already a Giant customer. To participate, all you need to do is:

Email giantgiftcards@pack69.org with the following information:

* Your name and your cub scout’s name

* Home phone number

* Number and amount of gift cards you wish to purchase (ie: one $100 card, or two $50 cards, etc)

A member of the Pack 69 Fundraising Committee will be in contact with you to arrange the purchase through your son’s next Den or Pack meeting.

This is a terrific and easy way to help raise money for Cub Scouts Pack 69 while purchasing your groceries, gas or other essentials at Giant Food stores. Again, there is no extra cost to you, no fees, and no expiration date. 2012 Pack 69 Cub Scout Dues

The Annual BSA and Pack Dues are due on or before December 1, 2011. We must receive the payment by that date in order to complete our paperwork for the BSA & Chester County Council and to register each boy in Scouting through the annual re-chartering process.

As a reminder, Dues this year are $85.00 and payable to “Cub Scouts Pack 69″. However, if a Scout and/or his family sold MORE THAN $75.00 of Popcorn, the Annual Dues are reduced to $60.00 to reflect the amount that will come to the Pack from the Popcorn Sales. Again, the Annual Dues must be paid NO LATER than December 1, 2011. Dues are payable to “Cub Scout Pack 69″.

Please submit your Dues to your Den Leaders, or bring them to our next Pack Meeting at St. Max on 11/14.
